Architect with a keen interest in urban design
Katrina has recently completed her master’s degree in architecture and urban design and is currently working with a local firm. Her dissertation study focused on the synergy between people and space and what causes a space to become used and appropriated. Throughout her thesis studies, she discovered various phenomena that aim at detoxifying toxic land areas using environmentally friendly practices and biophilic design.
Overall, besides the love for urban and landscape design, in her free time she also enjoys traveling and long nature walks. Her goal is to experience various projects at different scales and broaden her knowledge further within the field.
