Global Street Design Guide

The Global Designing Cities Initiative is a team of designers, planners and urban strategists whose mission is to transform streets around the world. Their aim is to inspire leaders, inform practitioners, and invite communities to imagine what’s possible when streets are designed to put people first. One of their publications is the Global Street Design Guide which supports practitioners in redefining the role of streets in cities around the world. It has been created using the input of experts from 72 cities in 42 countries. It provides guidance which serves to inform street design that prioritises pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders.
