San Francisco Parklet Manual

Parklets are usually an extension of a footpath to provide more space and amenities for people using a street. They are an extension from the footpath into the parking lane at the same level of the footpath to the width of the parking space.  The Parklet Manual provides an overview of the goals, policies, procedures and guidelines for creating a parklet in San Francisco. It is intended to guide applicants and designers who are proposing and planning parklets in the city. It also serves as a useful resource for any other city looking to develop parklet programs.
