This publication provides an action plan which aims to make mobility safe, sustainable, healthy and efficient. This is called Slow Streets, a pioneering initiative in Malta and Gozo geared towards giving back streets to the people rather than cars, focusing primarily on residents’ wellbeing.
A spatial proposition, by Dawra Madwarna, based on local research, on the need for green open space networks in our dense urban areas. It responds to the situation that recreational areas close to where we live and work are limited. The paper seeks to reimagine our existing urban environment with a focus on urban open spaces.
